“…Right then, let’s get moving!”

Just take it one step at a time, Airi, and nothing could go wrong. It wasn’t as if she was heading towards the wrong direction anyway if she wanted to get to town or something. Maybe she should change her mind or something though… She couldn’t stand bugs. But then again, she had Jungo with her to take care of all her insectal worries.

“Hopefully this won’t lead to somewhere crazy,” she said optimistically, or at least tried to fake it. Airi sighed internally— she really had no ‘friggin clue about which way she was going.

And follow he did.

Again, asking him anything that corresponded to getting anywhere they actually wanted to be was a terrible idea. Tell him to go someplace North, and he’d go East. Or West. Or South. Basically, Jungo would go any which way that was incorrect. Until he actually did, but not until sometime later. Like, days later. That was probably how he ended up so strong, since he had to take care of himself during those times, along with taking care of anyone else he found along the way.

Listening to Airi, he wondered if they were going on the right path. If there even was one but…what did they say to do when you were lost…? “…Airi, let’s follow the North Star. That should get us somewhere, right?”

…it was still light out.

…Okay, she wasn’t sure how dumb Jungo could be, but apparently he could be dumber than she would’ve ever friggin imagined. She looked down at her hand, a small, petite body part, and acknowledged that it was still bright outside. But of course, she already knew that. This boy was going to be the death of her, she swore to god.

“Dumbass, look outside for once! It’s so bright that I think I might burn my eyeballs away if I looked at the sun for too long! So what does that mean, you ask?! It means that we can’t see the stars!”

She pulled him down by his dumb shirt, and gave him a good thwack. And another, and another until she felt tired (which was, pretty fast. Keeping him down for a long time strained her other hand.)

“I give up on you, dammit.” she unhanded him and turned to walk again. “You’re so dumb, I’m not gonna even ask anymore.”

Where was a desk. She needed to headdesk until she got a concussion, and she wanted it now.
